El Granada/Surfer's Beach
Located at Off Hwy. 1 in Gregory Town, Half Moon Bay, California 94019.
Just south of Pillar Point Harbor and within the limits of Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary, Surfer's Beach is popular for most watersports, including surfing, kayaking, windsurfing, and jet skiing.
Its protected location makes this beach a good choice for beginners.
Waves can range from a few inches to a few feet in height.
This wide sandy Half Moon Bay beach is located beneath the seawall along Highway 1. You can park at Pillar Point Harbor.
