In 1935, Louie Cicornio opened Columbus Pastry at the corner of Columbus & Green in the heart of San Francisco's North Beach District. After starting at Columbus Pastry at the age of 8 and getting his feet wet in the food industry, Louie's son Ron opened his own restaurant, 622 Ristorante Italiano, in 1972. In 1988, Ron, along with his wife Rosanna and daughter Annalisa, began hand-making tortellini and ravioli in their home and selling them to restaurants in San Francisco and all over the Bay Area and Tortellini Originali Pasta Company was born. Following years of wholesale success, Tortellini Originali expanded into the retail sector in Half Moon Bay. With a culinary history now spanning 4 generations, we are proud to offer our homemade Italian delicacies and hope you enjoy eating them as much as we enjoy making them!
